As I stated in my ponence at the spanish congress of
vexillology on November 1998 - the Nicaraguayan autonomous
regions of RAAN and RAAS (Regiones Autonomistas - Atlantico Norte
and Atlantico Sur) didn't officially adopted a flag. Howevher I
received today information about the first "official"
proposal. I hope that more informations will follow in the next
months

Seems that Seems that Region Autonomo - Atlantico Norte got a
flag as seen on the right pole at <www.pto-cabezas.com>.

Here is the photo of
the flag that flies on the roof of the Assembly building in
Puerto Cabezas taken by my nephew. Also in the website of pto
cabezas, it describes the flag with three colors and then
specifies that the map with the coat of arms goes in the center.
