Municipal flag of Štore, horizontal and vertical versions - Images by Željko Heimer, 15 July 2006

The municipality of Štore was formed in 1995.
Željko Heimer, 25 March 2000
The flag of Štore, as seen in front of the municipality hall on 4 July 2002, is vertically hoisted, green with a blue field near the hoist (apparently 1/3 of the length of the flag), and with the coat of arms set in the middle of the green field.
The ratio of the flag is not available, therefore the default 2:5 ratio used on the image. Stanič [stj05] shows drawings in 23 x 58 mm and 24 x 59 mm sizes. A drawing on the
municipal website shoes a slightly longer, horizontal flag, but the blue part is lesser then 1/3 of the length of the flag,
as prescribed and described in the text next to the image.
Stanič describes only the vertical flag but shows images of both the vertical and horizontal flags. I believe that the text from
the municipal website site and the text quoted by Stanič are simply two
consecutive paragraphs of the very same Decision.

Coat of arms of Štore -Image by Željko Heimer, 25 March 2000
The coat of arms of Štore is a yellow shield bordered blue with blue
inscription VI. underlined and under it two crossed hammers.
The two hammers are for mining and ironworking, respectively. Blue represents mining and metallurgy, while green represents the countryside. According to Stanič, number VI represents the VIth century, during which the place was settled.
