Presentation of Embiricos

The company N. Embiricos, of Andros, owned in 1915 the ship Assimacos, sunk in the Bay of Biscay in November 1916.

The company Georges M. Embericos purchased the ship Adana from Furness, Withy & Co. and renamed it Miltiades Embericos. The ships was sunk in the Mediterranean Sea in July 1917.

According to Brown's Flags and Funnels of British and Foreign Steamship Companies [wed26], the house flag of Embiricos Line, a company based in Athens, is blue with a white saltire and in the middle a white disc charged with a blue E.
